Book Buddies is an international monthly pen-pal style book club created for children ages 6 through 11 between the United States and Uganda.

Each month, children receive a themed envelope filled with connection-building surprises: a story update from Uganda, quotes and captions written by children in both countries, photos, stickers, and a fun prompt activity. Additional treasures may include bookmarks, coloring pages, mini crafts, jokes, trivia cards, or other goodies tied to the monthly theme. Through shared reading and creative interaction, children build literacy & geography skills while learning about friendship, culture, and compassion.

Every mailing is intentionally simple enough to fit inside a stamp-sized envelope, making it an affordable and meaningful way to stay connected.
